As a company, Innovative Refrigeration Systems has set out to achieve the best of the best in safety and quality standards.  Our eyes are now set on achieving OSHA’s SHARP (Safety & Health Achievement Recognition Program) Certification!

In January of 2017, OSHA’s on-site consultants visited and assessed our standards and records, identifying our company as a Pre-SHARP candidate. In March, at our Annual Safety Event, Innovative celebrated numerous accomplishments from many of our diligent employees. We recognized three of our skilled welders, who completed their in-house Welder Apprenticeship in February, as well as our overall team’s continued efforts to build and maintain a safe work environment.

One of the steps we’re taking to expand our safety culture is the creation of the Innovative Refrigeration Safety & Quality Distinction Award. We were pleased to honor Sean Stapleton as the first-ever recipient!

Sean, who has been with Innovative for 11 years, has had the lowest number of incident reports. His sterling safety record, coupled with a well-known reputation for high-quality work, made his selection an easy choice. We’re here to congratulate Sean, along with all our other employees who have demonstrated a commitment to safety!
