Ammonia Refrigeration
Ammonia has become an extremely popular industrial refrigerant because of its availability, reduced cost of procurement, and increased efficiency at cool temperatures (3~10% more efficient than traditional CFC or HCFC refrigerants). Ammonia is also safer for the environment–it’s ozone safe, and experts agree that it does not contribute to global climate change.
Because of those reasons, ammonia refrigeration systems have become a staple in the industry, and have been top sellers at Innovative Refrigeration Systems for almost 30 years. These systems typically have a lower installation cost, are more efficient for cooling facilities, and have more forgiving maintenance requirements. They’re also cheaper to recharge, which, along with their efficiency, saves clients money in the long run.
Here at Innovative Refrigeration Systems, we’re experts at designing, manufacturing, constructing, and servicing ammonia refrigeration systems. All of our ammonia refrigeration technicians are trained at the prestigious Industrial Refrigeration Technical College (IRTC), and our engineering, manufacturing, and construction teams have lots of experience building these systems, whether they be new construction or retrofits.
